Numbi is a small village in the mountains of the Democratic Republic of Congo. With their bare hands, miners dig for coltan – the gray gold essential to almost all technological devices – which often reaches the industrialized world through legal or illegal means. His topics have ranged from drug addiction to archaeology in Gaza, volcanology, and adventure stories. He also works as a cinematographer for documentaries, commercials, and feature films, including Netflix productions and award-winning works. His visual storytelling combines realism with strong human perspectives.
